Frequently asked questions
Is there a file size or storage limit?
There's no per-case storage limit. Individual files can be up to 500MB each, which covers most legal documents including large imaging files for firms that handle heavy medical imaging.
Can I migrate files from our existing cloud storage?
Yes. Our migration team helps import files from your current cloud storage or case management system, preserving the folder structure where possible.
Does the case drive integrate with other Docket features?
Yes. Documents generated by AI Demand Drafting are saved automatically. Incoming faxes are AI-sorted into the correct case and folder, and files can be attached to demands directly from the drive.
How does external sharing work?
Select any file or folder, click Share, and enter the recipient's email. They receive a secure link that requires email verification before access. You control access duration and are notified when the file is viewed.
How is data encrypted?
All files are encrypted with AES-256 encryption both at rest and in transit. Access is controlled through role-based permissions, and every file operation is logged in an immutable audit trail.
